Video System + IPC

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm interested in using the video system, but i wonder if this can be integrated with IP. Content, because i will not use it as a block in forums.

I would also like to know if i can make edits via css.

Greetings.

No IP.Content support is currently not offered, I assume you just wanted to display a block like you would in the portal or sidebar? Could you expand on what you mean by edits via css? Most of the videos system style uses the standard IPB3 style, there are a few unique styles that you can change in the included videos.css file.

Thanks Michael.

Yes i would like to display it as a ipc block.

By edit via css i mean that i can make little changes like the default general_box and use my own boxes, or define positions as i prefer (floats, inline, display).

I'm working on a minor update now for the Videos System, so will see what can include. Can't promise anything however until I look at the latest IP.Content code.

Regarding css, the Videos System does use it's own css file, so I guess you can add an override to the general_box css class so it uses your styling instead. I'm no skinner, so for major changes you'd need to contact a skinner. The Videos System utilizes template bits and css like IPB3 does, so any changes would be similar to changing IPB3's style.
