To allow us to focus on the latest IP.Board software, the IP.Board 2.3.x and 3.0.x modifications will now have an end of life date. Support, installs, upgrades and related services will no longer be offered for these modifications after the below specified EOL dates. Your still welcome to use these modifications other the EOL date but without support from DevFuse.

IP.Board 2.3.x Modifications

Technical support, installations and related services for our IP.Board 2.3.x modifications will end on the 1st January 2011. IP.Board 2.3.x itself has been EOL with IPS for 6 months now. So continuing support really becomes unsustainable.

IP.Board 3.0.x Modifications

Technical support, installations and related services for our IP.Board 3.0.x modifications will end on the 1st June 2011.

Security Updates

Critical security fixes will still be issued for several months after after the EOL. We however highly recommend keeping your board and products updated to the latest version.

Internet Explorer 7

Also inline with IPS recent EOL announcement, DevFuse support for IE7 will also take the same approach as IPS.

The next version of Internet Explorer, version 9, will soon be reaching a final, supported release from Microsoft. Once Internet Explorer 9 final is released we will begin phasing out support for Internet Explorer 7 which will then be two versions behind. This will not be an abrupt end of support but we will base our phase-out of support based on the market share and adoption rate of IE8/9 versus IE7. Issues reported that are specific to IE7 will be evaluated on a case by case basis and, depending on the severity of their impact, we will still address them. However, as a general practice, cosmetic issues or minor lack of functionality specific to IE7 will not be addressed.
