Theo
Hello, i tried to install a ipb 3.0.5 for a customer on his webserver but i have some problems: 1. I cant see Admin CP Skin (I See only a Lo-Fi Version) 2. No Rich Text Editor I edit all the settings on the admin panel and on the profile but i dont see the rich text editor. 3. When i start a Topic or goes to Tab Members i get this: 4. Member Bar allways opened - cant collapse it I had a problem with the forum skin - was displayed like the admin panel - Lo-Fi Version! Then i export the template and import it again and then they works then i upload a other theme and works too. I dont know why i had this problem - maybe the hoster is not good. The Customer do not want that i give his domain public - maybe its a problem for the Admin - if yes delete the Topic! Thanks

Management Michael Posted February 7, 2010 Management Report Share Posted February 7, 2010 Yeah all those issues seem to be caused by css/javascript not being uploaded correctly. Try re-uploading all the files again but another ftp program. Also make sure the 'transfer type' or similar setting in your ftp program is set to auto, so the files are uploaded correctly. Theo
Here the Video from the installation! http://rapidshare.com/files/350833095/ipb3_alefel.rar.html password: devfuse and here a Pic from the Editor: I "play" a little with the Skin Settings (IP.Board) the Option: Cache CSS to text files? This may reduce the size of the HTML as the CSS will be in a browser cachable file. Warning: Changing this value will re-cache any cached stylesheet information. Please make sure that you have synchronized any cache files with the database. is by default to Yes if i set it to no then i can see the skin on the forum! but the other problems still there! (java, Editor, Admin Skin)
Theo
All problems resolved Drag Minify javascript? You can minify javascript and CSS to reduce the number of HTTP requests to the server, support proper browser caching, and compress the contents sent. Was by default on Yes set it to no and now all its ok! i dont believe it! one option 10 problems! Edited February 15, 2010 by Theo
