  1. Not sure if this has been reported here (I'm not finding it, but that doesn't mean much), but the link for Collections in the +Create menu at the top of the page doesn't seem to follow the language rules that are set up in Collections. It simply says "Add Item" which is pretty unintuitive for the user. Can we get a fix for this? (This is seen on IPB 4.5.2, but I don't see an option in the dropdown for that version.)
  2. Well said. I've been using his stuff for some time now & while I have slowly been trimming back the third party apps on my site, Devfuse is one of only 2 developers that I just won't go away from. So I'll add my thanks as well. :)
  3. You're awesome Michael. Keep up the good work. :)
  4. Hey Michael, I hope things are well with you! Quick question about the Portal. Do you happen to have a portal plugin for upcoming calendar events? I found one over on Invision's Marketplace that replicates / uses the board index hook, but the problem is that it doesn't support ranged events. Many of mine are ranged, so it leaves those out. Any thoughts?
  5. Right now you can define categories for the modifications tab. It would be nice if you could do the same for the images tab. Just a way to sort them & keep them grouped/organized. An option to create albums would be even better.
  6. Would it be possible to add the option of creating categories for images? Right now you can only choose between a modification & vehicle image. It would be nice if we could have the option of creating more of those, to help people keep their garage organized. Even better would be a way of allowing the end user to create their own categories for images beyond the default vehicle & modification options.
  7. Yes, some sort of RSVP system would be really cool. I guess that would turn it into an event module..... Maybe there would be a way to ask the creator if the event is one that people can sign up for? I'm thinking of using this mod as a way of connecting members & haven't gotten as far as using it for that purpose, but can see some possibilities. Would there be a possibility of allowing an admin to create custom fields that people could fill in? Kind of like the garage module? So for example, as an admin I could create text fields for event title, date, time, location, link to map/directions, contact name, etc etc, then a WYSIWYG editor for details of the event. Not sure if any of that is possible, but it would be a great start. Tagging of some sort would be nice too.
  8. Hi Michael, Nice work. I've just now installed on my test board & it's looking good. I'm confused about the following though: How do I make adjustments to those settings? I can't seem to find the spot. EDIT: Nevermind, found it. Duh.....
  9. I've been uber busy lately, but will have some time in the evenings this week to throw at it if you need me Michael. I'd be happy to help if needed.
  10. Thank you Michael, this is looking great. So now that 3.1 beta vs2 is out, will this be compatible?
  11. Cool, you Da Man. One more idea regarding custom fields. Right now if you have custom fields that a person doesn't add an entry to, it shows the entry as "Not Available". Would it be possible for those fields to auto-hide if it doesn't have an entry?
  12. Thank you for your hard work Michael. I'm hoping that you make this optional? There are those of us using this for something other than cars & I don't want to be locked in to a database that has nothing to do with what I want to use this for. Thanks!
  13. How about both? There is some information that I'd like to include on the main tab that has the year, make & model, so it would be fantastic to have the option to move custom fields into that tab. Completely separate of that, it would be great to also be able to re-order or re-position the tabs. Some of the custom tabs that I'm adding make more sense to be positioned over next to the main tab. I hope that makes sense. If I had to choose between the 2, the ability to move custom fields into other tabs is more important than moving tabs around.
  14. I know that you said it probably won't make it into this version, but I'd really like the option to place the uploads directory on a different server.
  15. Here's another that we talked about in support Michael. I don't have a super-clear idea for this, but it would be nice to have more flexibility with regard to images. Right now as it stands (& please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this) it looks like you can either post images within the stock images category (vehicle) or attached as to modifications. I can see situations where you'd have either custom categories that you'd want to place images in or maybe that they don't apply specifically to anything other than the experience that you had in the vehicle (or maybe there was a specific event that you want to highlight). So I think that there are a couple of possible suggestions: 1. Maybe a way to attach images to custom fields, the way that you can with modifications. 2. Maybe an option for a gallery for the whole garage. So you'd have an option to add a vehicle, or add a gallery. 3. Maybe an option for creating another category of images. Just throwing out some ideas on that. Also, I know that better integration was something that was mentioned earlier. Elaborating on that just a little, the links within a member's IPB profile & maybe topic profile view would be a great starting point. Going farther, it would be nice if there was a way to pull some of the basic data into IPB profiles & profile topic views. So that way you only have to enter that data once, rather than twice (once in the board's custom fields & once in the Garage). Basic data such as year, make & model I would think would be enough.
