    Main Page Embeded Video viewing not counted in total view?

    I have 10 video on main page of video section and when people start watching those videos the counter is not counting those as view (not updating video count for that video)

    No and this may not be technically possible. But will leave open and report back if I can do something next update. (I'll be doing a series of new features in early 2018 for all apps.)

    Hi Michael,

    Not sure if this is working; I add a video with no view then make it featured. One day later still 15 views, my video main page gets 500 unique hit a day... :)

    Not sure

    How many videos do you featured at the same time? And are you in random featured mode ?

                $featured = iterator_to_array( \IPS\videos\Video::featured( 10, '_rand' ) );

    I'll have to test this a little later when I've got the time but in theory if you add this below the above code you just reference, it should work.

                foreach ( $featured as $firstFeatured )
                {
                    /* Update views for first video */
                    \IPS\Db::i()->insert( 'core_view_updates', array(
                        'classname'	=> 'IPS\videos\Video',
                        'id'		=> $firstFeatured->tid
                    ) );
                    break;
                }

            if( \IPS\Settings::i()->vs_featured_videos )
            {
                $featured = iterator_to_array( \IPS\videos\Video::featured( 10, '_rand' ) );
                foreach ( $featured as $firstFeatured )
                {
                    /* Update views for first video */
                    \IPS\Db::i()->insert( 'core_view_updates', array(
                        'classname'	=> 'IPS\videos\Video',
                        'id'		=> $firstFeatured->tid
                    ) );
                    break;
                }
            }

    Yes correct. Will pick the first displayed featured video and increase it's view count.

    I applied the changes... I will monitor closely ... :)

    I apologies, this got lost in the update and should of been re-set to "Pending". I've confirmed again and will be added next version.

    You forgot to add this again... :)
