How do I have the portal as homepage but in site root?

Posted by Nick Collins on 17 January 2012 - 08:18 AM

Hi

I have seen the instructions that allows to change the forum home, but that does not work for me.

My site is anfieldforum.com and I have the forum installed in anfieldforum.com/forum

I want it so that people typing anfieldforum.com see the portal, "home" if you like.

I do not want to move the /forum directory to the root directory.

How do I accomplish this?

I did originally have IP content but I was unable to configure it properly, the documentation for it is very poor.

Thanks

Nick

Also, how do I remove the current online users from the sidebar?

Are there any other blocks I can add, and if so, how? Thanks.

I currently only support the Portal though the IPS Forums, you can find the support topic here.
