wrong link posted in topic

Posted by RichardC on 04 September 2011 - 07:15 PM

IP board v3.2.2
calendar topics v1.1.0

when an event is added the URL posted in its created topic is incorrect, when you click on it, instead of being taken to the calendar entry, you get this message:

[#10430] We could not find that calendar event.

how our system is set up:

we have 2 calendars, events and birthdays.

when an event is created, it posts a topic in the pending approvals forum and an entry in the shoutbox.

the event topic is edited (tags added) and moved to the correct event forum.

everything seems to work as intended except for the topic URl, for example

the actual calendar entry:
http://www.x.com/index.php?/calendar/event/101-test-dont-panic/

the topic URL:
http://www.x.com/index.php?/calendar/event/100-test-dont-panic/

the forum number shown for the calendar topic is not consistent.

regards
Richard

Confirmed not tested, I have had some reported problems with the calendar I'm currently taking a look at. If you wouldn't mind opening a ticket with board access.

the incorrect URL kept incrementing by +1 each time a link was created, it has now stopped at the same number as the correct event URL.
