I'm not quite sure where to put this questions.  I'm a customer and I purchased the video system but yet it says I don't have access to what I believe the proper forum would be to ask this question.  Moderator please move this topic where you see fit (so long as I have access).

RE: Video System -

I have selected that a new topic is created each time a video is submitted.

The ACP setting contains the following information:
Name: %TITLE%
Category: %CATEGORY%
Date Added: %DATE_ADDED%
Submitter: %PROFILE_LINK%
Short Description: %SHORT_DESC%

%VIDEO_LINK%

I would also like the actual video to be displayed here there for I would like the actual link (http://www.youtube.com.....) to be posted so that it's parsed and shows the video.

So the video would really be in two different places - the original posted in the video section and then also in the thread.

I tried %VIDEO_URL% as a shot in the dark but that didn't work.

Thanks for your time.

If you've purchased from the IPS Marketplace, you can view how to get a support account here. To answer your question, this is already supported through the %EMBED% tag. If you choose media url when posting the video it should display the embed code in the topic as well.

Keep up to date with DevFuse mod development and releases.
