I noticed that the setting for Use Trashcan is still there?
How does one make use of this option in 3.2.x since there is no longer an apparent Trashcan option?

Have you done a re-import of the hook file? I've changed the setting to choose between the new permanent delete or restore delete. If the IPB hook importer is not getting rid of the old setting, try deleting the hook then re-importing.

Re-import didn't help. I uninstalled and then installed and that is fine.

I have selected No to permanent delete. I was expecting the system task Remove Deleted would permanently delete the selected ones after the 5 days (default) setting. I hope I am correct. If so, I have created a tracker report on Invision which the logging of Remove Deleted always shows 0.

Checking the Mod log, the topics are being permanently deleted as expected by the permanent delete task. It is just always reporting that $posts and $topics is always zero.

Looking at the IPB system task, I cannot see where $Post and/or $Task ever get updated. If I am correct, that would explain the logging error.
