You may or may not know that IPS offers an Affiliate Program. If you refer someone and they purchase an IPB license you can earn up to 10% of the purchase cost. If you have many members on your board that can equal a lot of money.

So, I introduce the Affiliate Changer. This is a simple hook that will modify the copyright link and replace it with your own IPS generated affiliate link.

Is this legal? Of course it is! If you're concerned take a look at this post by Charles of IPS -> http://community.inv...__hl__affiliate all of the copyright text stays intact but the link itself gets updated to your link!

Requirements:
PHP 5 +
IPB 3.1.0 +
Ioncube Loaders - I have encoded the backend file on this hook to ensure that all of the IPS copyright data stays intact. If you try to insert a link that doesn't link directly to invisionpower.com the link will revert to the standard copyright link that ships with all boards. Obviously if you could change this then making changes to their copyright would be ridiculously easy.

At the moment the copyright will only show in English and if you have enabled the setting "Show Board Version Info" in your ACP, the version info will not show. Future versions may fix this.
