Ok. tried this on my localhost and no changes? The formating remains the same, no smilies etc.?
Did the skin recaching, same thing.

No, it's just upload the XML.

Question ? Do you use (SOS31) Quick Topic as well ? If so, I guess it's in conflict with this hook. I had this problem on my board and edited one line in quick topics and now it works. Can you test it for me ?

Download quick topic again and edit its XML and find:

class sos31_fasttopic_showform extends public_forums_ajax_topics

Change to:

class sos31_fasttopic_showform extends (~extends~)

Reinstall.

After this, it's working in my board.

If it's ok, I'll update quick topics downloads in all boards I posted.
