Hey, I've been trying to get this worked out but I haven't found a solution. I know about permissions and everything, but for some strange reason, guests still cant view the forum topics (I want them to). The farthest they can go is the index page, with all of the boards listed.

When I click on a topic as a guest to try and read it (and have the correct permissions), it says this:

However, while logged in every permission works fine for every member group. Any solutions?

I assume you've gone through all the forum permissions? Another thing to check is group permissions and settings. Haven't got IPB2.3 installed right now but check the "Can view other members topics?" setting when editing the Guest group.

Yup, I've got all the permissions set, as well as Guests being able to view other members' topics.

That particualr error code appears quite a bit in IPB2.3. I assume this error only appears when viewing a topic e.g. index.php?showtopic=#? That particular error appears when either no topic id is provided or the topic is unapproved.

Yes, it only appears when attempting to view a topic, though it does have the ID# at the end of it.

Not sure what else it could be then. IPB3 have improved error codes but with IPB2.3, that error could be called just about anywhere. Easiest way would be to comment/uncomment the error codes until you find which one is causing the problem.
