Hi,

How can this benefit over IP.Portal, does it pull info from a thread in a set forum. Does the News System do something similar or can you make any post a user writes news ?

I guess I just need a little explanation of how this differs from the IP.Portal which I am currently using ?

The News System doesn't pull articles from forums rather you add news articles into the system itself. This is done through the Admin CP, so users can only add it through the Admin CP. More information on the News System can be found here, including several screenshots. If you need more info or a demo, let me know and should be able to setup one up.
