I couldn't get it done without file edits so left it for another version. If you want mass archiving of pm's then this probably won't be able to do that just yet.

Would it be possible for me to edit your excellent mod, which we have installed.
What we would like is to select Conversations via check boxes, then Download the selected ones. Is there any way we can do this?

Just in case you've missed my reply cnmoore, I've replied in the InvisionModding support topic here. Still quite busy with mod upgrades so give an exact time when I'll be able to add this. Without looking at the relevant files yet, I don't imagine the file edits to be too hard, so provided you have basic php knowledge you might be able to edit it.

Thank you, Michael.  Indeed I did miss it.

I can write php to a certain extent, but for IPB I am a little over my head.  I understand the code in the mod reasonably well, but I don't know how to collect the topic IDs of the conversations that have their boxes checked.

The Messenger code seems to be mostly javascript, ips.messenger.js.  That's the only Messenger file I can find, and I am not up on js so it is rather obscure.  The js doesn't seem to do anything with topic ID.

I won't be able to add this until early January. But if you look at the _multiFile function in admin/applications/members/modules_public/messaging/view.php The ids are already being generated for you and being sent of to delete, read, unread etc..

Make sure you upload the public/style_images/master/ images to the other skin image folders.

I'm sorry, but I'm new to uploading files to this place and that place thing. But I don't see the folders to upload the "public/style_images/master/ images" to.

When you unzip the files, from your computer you'll need to upload the contents of the public/style_images/master/ folder to your forums public/style_images/{skinfoldername}/

Since we don't really need an IPB upgrade we're sticking with 3.0.5 until the multiple PM download is a standard part of IPB.  Don't want to keep having to install mods.

If you also have other skins installed you'll need to upload to your other skin image folders. e.g public/style_images/{skinfoldername}/
