Tried this on 3.0.1 and no luck. Topic posts fine but there is no message in the Shoutbox. I have double checked the file edits as well.

Just double check the settings are all configured properly. Settings were tweaked a little bit since IPB2.3, some things are done differently.

Here are my settings:
Tools & Settings  >  System Settings  >   (M30) Shoutbox Topic Alert

Enable system: IP.Shoutbox  (1.1.0 RC 1 installed)
Member group formatting: Yes
Strip Images: No
Shoutbox post character cut-off: -1
Shoutbox Author: -1
Forums to use: 2 forums selected, with IDs 2 & 68
Shoutbox Post: New topic %topic_name% posted in %forum_name% by %member_name%

I thought maybe there was a bug when you had more than one forum selected. That wasn't the case though, as I selected only one forum in the settings and still no luck.

Do you have an errors related to this in System Tab > Logs > Error Logs?

No, there isn't anything in there from this. Some facebook connect errors and that's about it.

Well unless the shoutbox is somehow restricting this I don't see what's wrong. Check your shoutbox character limit. I'll need ftp access to troubleshoot this further.

Max shoutbox length is set to 0.

Small issue with hook that causes problems with 3rd party mods that use classPost function. Manual fix is open your hooks folder, delete any files that resemble this shoutboxTopicalert_**************.php

Shoutbox Topic Alert  , dont want anymore to work.
I don't now if it is because of version 3.0.2 or the latest update of Shoutbox Topic Alert

I haven't had any problems with the latest shoutbox fix. The changes made in that patch shouldn't affect the shoutbox topic alert. What I suggest you do is a complete uninstall of this mod, then a complete re-install making sure all the edits are done correctly. Get back to me how you go.

Very strange, I uninstalled,I uploaded again the files and then installed the hook.
Doesn't work.

Btw , I'm using ccs from ips, dont know if there is some incompatibility.

I have been checked the setting and the file edits but nothing...
Same with the auto welcome mebers...no pm no shout no profile comment no topic

Both mods have been stable for some time now. Majority of the time the problem is the file edits not being performed properly. 1. Download the latest version and re-upload. 2. Carefully go through the file edits. If your still having problems pm me your ftp/admincp details and I'll take a look. Also be sure to use the latest IPB3 version to eliminate IPB3 bugs.

I'm using Invision Power Board 3.0.2.

Mod has just been updated. Minor update that only fixes readme file and problems with textarea not being fully selected.
