A common mistake is that the full edit is not selected when performing file edits. Make sure you scroll the whole box in the second textarea. If it's still not working, please PM me your admin/applications/forums/sources/classes/post/classPost.php file after you've applied the file edit. Also double check all steps in the instructions are completed.

Included with these instructions is a folder called upload, upload the contents of this folder to your forums corresponding folders, keeping the folder struction intact.

I am not sure where to upload the content of the upload file (which by the way is another folder named admin) !!

Do I upload the [ admin ] folder to the [ domain/public_html/ ] folder on my server ? Or do I have to get inside some other folders too !!

Please Help :(

Take a look at step 2 of this tutorial here. It should explain it a bit better.

It would appear I have a new Hero !!

It is you Mich :D Thank You SOO MUCH.

EDIT: I have done everything that you asked me to do in that Tutorial Link you sent me.

Do I still have to do the file edits required in the Read Me file that comes with the Mod ?

Because I am using custom skins ..etc and so I'm worried things might mess up !

Thanks

You only need to do file edits, shouldn't make a difference what skins you have installed, these file edits don't go anywhere near skins output.

It sends messages out when posts are made, existing post counts are not going to receive pm's. Have you applied all the file edits correctly?

Tried a re-install, including the file edit?
