Your members wont see the same thing you do. This hook is designed to integrate your members twitter into your board.

when i try to update my twitter i get a read only application cannot post
the app on the twitter end is set for both
i tried revoking permission and re-allowing to reset the OAuth no luck

any ideas?

Have you recently changed something in the application details, or changed application API keys?

Here's what you can try:
Go to http://twitter.com/account/connections, and revoke access to your application
Then go to your UCP, and reset Twitter Authentication.
Go back to the board index (refresh twice if you have auto-correct DST enabled (working on that bug)), and get your new request and access tokens.

How can I fix it?
