What you are saying is that you're not redirected back to the page you were on after you logged in?

This mod was working fine with IPB 3.0.2, but it broke when I upgraded to 3.0.3.

This is the error that I got :

Fatal error: Call to undefined method seo_overloader::quickLoginSlide() in /home/border/public_html/hooks/loginSlide_513ed39b6c93b6b5d9b8b422b615ef70.php on line 72

What's on line 72 of that file? Try uninstalling them reinstalling the hook.

Keep up to date with DevFuse mod development and releases.

It's the line that calls the template.

Must be a bug with overloading skins, or an issue with a SEO modification you're using.

Delete the hook, and install it again.

Happened to a few of my members as well. I did not want to reinstall since I changed the way it looks (to fit my skin, still gives credit to whoever made it just colour changes). I fixed the issue by changing the members default board skin to the one that members are forced to use rather than "Default Skin". That fixed it for me.

How did you edit the way it looks? I am having a problem were it doesnt seem to work with my skin. It works with the default and other skins but im unable to get it working for the skin i currently have. I love this mod, i think its great. I just need to know why the login buttons disappear and arent being shown on the main webpage when i enable the hook. Would this be a skin adjustment or does the hook need modifying to suit the skin?

The skin i have for my IP Board is Venoum from Skin ground.

Simple edits in the javascript file I think. Cant remember now that I have deleted the hook. Stopped working for all of my members when updated to 3.0.4. So I just got rid of it.

I think there is a major bug in this product.

I've opened a support ticket at IPB with regards to this as I thought at first that it was something to do with the IPB software. But the clarified that it was something to do with this product.

On my website: www.prowebforums.com

If i login using these details (which are my real login details)

Username: Stormraven
Password: s******

But if you use my old login details:

Username: Stormraven
Password: h******

If I use the second login details i get this:

http://www.prowebforums.com/f89f.gif

BTW in that image, the undefined box comes up because I pressed the 'toggle visibility' button. Even though this bug doesn't let you use features or access the admin panel, but it's still quite a major bug IMO.

Please can you fix this?

It won't let me edit my last post for some reason, but this is what Mark Higgins from IPS ticket support told me:

Quote

Whatever modification(s) you've made that adds that wide, brown, "drop-down" login screen, is likely to blame. I suspect it's finding a valid user name from the database, and it then puts those details there regardless of login success or failure. If you click any link after that screen, it properly goes back to the "Offline" screen, so it's not really a login. The modification appears to have altered the basic way which the system uses, to login.

No, not possible. If this is a bug, it's in IP.Board. All this does is send the details you provided to the IP.Board login handler. If that doesn't do its job, it's non of my business.

The sliding login hook works perfect for standard default IP Board skin. It just didnt work for the skin i was using. I had to edit my css templates to get it to work.

All good now and works good. Its much better than getting redirected all the time.

I feel like a bit of an idiot. In the instructions it says to make sure to enable it after install. For the life of me I cannot find any settings for it in the admin section! Im sure it is something obvious but I give up. Any leads?
