The News System has undergone a major update with several new features and improvements being made. These includes:

# Create discussion topics for newly created news items.
# Multi-Act for mass moderation of news items.
# News Item dropdown with email news, print news, download (HTML), download (Word).
# Commenting system so allowed groups can easily add comments to any news item.
# Group permissions for which groups can comment on news and moderate comments.
