I'll take a look into it, if I can do it without file edits, will add it. Thanks for testing by the way.

Michael:

In RC1, there appears to be a problem with the built-in Mass Move/Purge as reported by Charles and others. It appears to be over-zealous and does more than the selection criteria.

Is this task affected by that bug?

Got a link to that bug report? The task does use the same moderate library file as the mass move/purge probably does. But so far in testing I haven't encountered any issues.

There has been other topics that suggested that selecting x posts with certain criteria includes too many.

First bug shouldn't affect the mod, can't comment on the second bug until it's confirmed, doesn't seem possible though. I'd say any bugs would be related to the wrong topic ids being passed rather than something going wrong during the topic delete function. I've been over the few functions I use from the moderator library and can't see anything out of place.

Until IPB3 final, I'd recommend to keep backups!! and use the new trash can feature of this mod.

In any case, I am waiting for IPB3 Final before upgrading the live side. Then I will make use of the mod. My test system is a copy of the live side and I will do the necessary tests.

Thank you for this mod. I used the 2.x version for a few years.

I installed this mod on my RC2 test system (using trash can for now).

Michael - you might want to add a note to the readme of when the defaults ares for the task re schedule.

Just making use of the real moveTopic function (used for trash can) since a bug causing issues was fixed in 3.0.0. Previously used a slightly modified version of moveTopic to bypass the bug.

Just re-upload all the files and re-upload the hook. All what's needed to update hooks.

I want to report a small display bug.

I have set 45 days as my limit.

The log entry shows the following:

Quote

32 topics with last post dates made more than 0 days ago, have been deleted. Topics moved into trash can.

The 0 should be 45.

Is this feature request already implemented? If not, there's any chance to implement it? These individual settings will make this mod even better. :)

Thanks anyway,
Paulo Ricardo

It's something I would like to add. But doing so would create file edits unless I can find an alternative.

What is the correct procedure to update to the version released today? I am using the previous version successfully.

Nothing required, changes are minor readme file changes and php comment changes.
