You need to change the hex code here

background:#FFA400;

If you wanted a grey you would change it to this

background: #999999;

You can find different hex codes here.

I tried this...
It changes my "font" on various parts of the board for some reason.
Reverted.

I've just updated the tutorial, it should be add above body. That should work for you now.
