I have seen this mod on many sites, shame I am unable to use it on my IPB as you are aware my IPB is encoded - just wondering is there any plans to have this mod for those who have IPB encoded.

I don't know Michael plans but you should be able to do that with a skin edit like we did on IP.Shoutbox

Thanks for the suggestion terabyte. I've been meaning to try out the Shoutbox, I guess now would be a good time to do so.
In response to your question bell. as IPB 3.0 is around the corner, I don't plan on releasing an update for the Guest Message just yet. That being said, IPB 3.0 greatly improves upon using basic functions within the skin template. Also the hooks system should be the perfect for the guest message. I'm hoping the system will be powerful enough, so that the guest message doesn't require edits.
